It is not an easy world to live in.
It is not an easy world to be decent in.
It is not an easy world to understand oneself in, nor to like oneself in.
But it must be lived in,
and in the living there is one person
you absolutely have to be with.

At ValiantHearts, we frequently get questions from site visitors and newsletter subscribers, regarding aspects of their personal and professional lives and relationships that, quite frankly, we are not qualified to answer.
For some time, we’ve made our best effort to direct these readers to a source of information that would be more appropriate to their needs. But, the time spent researching these questions was becoming overwhelming for our small staff, and we could never be certain that we had found the best answer.
Then we found Kasamba and LivePerson, two online companies that have been in the professional advice and counseling sector for years, and merged in October 2007. LivePerson now offers over 30,000 experts, in every discipline, for immediate access online, and we have brought them right here to our site for the benefit of our readers and subscribers. Their fees are reasonable, and all sessions start for free.
We will be experimenting with their presence on our site for a while, in terms of aesthetics and the amount of space available to present their experts, so don’t panic if their space looks different from one visit to another. They are still the same people, offering the same excellent service, but we’ve just been fiddling with the page.
And please don’t feel that we’ve decided to shirk our responsibility to our readers. When you have questions about online dating, personals and dating sites, writing profiles, and all the other things we are here to help you with, by all means fire away. We welcome your questions and comments at all times. If we don’t know, we’ll still try to find out.
But, when you feel that the issue you’re facing is potentially life-changing, or that the advice you seek needs to come from someone with real authority in their field, don’t hesitate to give LivePerson a try. They have specialists in just about every field of expertise, not just romance and relationships, and they’re available online 24/7 365 days a year.
We hope LivePerson proves to be a real benefit to our readers. Please let us know what you think, here on the blog or by private email. We’d love to hear about your experiences.
Cheers,
JoAnne

We’re excited to be adding a new online dating site to our review pages at ValiantHearts. Singles of Faith is a Christian dating site “with a difference” and we think our Christian readers will be glad to learn that they have become a part of the ValiantHearts selection of faith-based dating services. Our review page is not finalized, but we hope to have it complete and posted within a few days.
We think those of you looking to meet partners who share your Christian values and beliefs will be pleased with the added dimension this brings to your choices at Valiant Hearts. Let us know what you think.

Dave put several Michael Webb eBooks on the Gifts pages not long ago, and my favorite is among them, 1000 QUESTIONS FOR COUPLES - What You Absolutely Must Know About Your Relationship. I think it’s a ‘must read’ for anyone in, or hoping to be in, an important romantic relationship.
You’ll find out a lot about yourself, and your partner. Oprah loves this guy, and so do I. He really does know what he’s talking about when it comes to romance and relationships. It’s a downloadable eBook too, so it also satisfies that need for instant gratification

Is the online persona genuine? Is the process too nebulous? Is the ‘real’ world a safer place to look for love? WiseWoman helps you sort through these questions, and reach some conclusions. I think. Read Magic Personified
