DateLink Networks is a group of personals / dating sites, some of which cater to the growing population of married, or otherwise attached, daters on the internet. Membership is absolutely free at all the DateLink Networks sites, and you can browse member profiles and photos, in your area or around the world, without a paid membership. You must be 18 years of age to post a profile and it will be reviewed by DateLink, and censored if necessary, before approval and posting online. You may not include any personal contact information in your publicly viewable ad, and you may not use foul language or post otherwise offensive content.
Photos are optional, but having one gives you a far greater chance of making contact. You can upload as many photos to your gallery as you choose, but you may not exceed a total of 10MB of storage space. Photos are reviewed and approved by DateLink before being posted online, and if you post a photo, it may not be “x-rated.”
You may not post copyrighted photos, or photos of celebrities or cartoon characters. Datelink reserves the right to crop or reject any photo that does not meet its standards, so you should see their Help section for restrictions on size and content before uploading to your gallery.
Your privacy is protected until you decide to reveal yourself to the person or persons of your choice. DateLink will only contact you at the email address you registered with, so if your personal email account is not completely private, you might consider using an address that only you have access to, like Gmail or Hotmail, or one of many freely available web-based email accounts.
DateLink will not sell, rent, or otherwise allow the use of your contact information but, as with all online dating sites, we suggest you read and understand their Privacy Policy, to be sure you are comfortable with its terms, before you sign up.
DateLink Networks offers the usual amenities, like “hotlists” and “favorites,” and you can block others from contacting you, or require that they ask permission to contact you before their emails will be allowed to reach you. You can save your search criteria, up to six different searches, so you don’t have to enter the same information more than once.
To use the more advanced features, like instant messaging, internal email, and video chat, or to respond to others who have shown interest in you, you will have to upgrade to a paid membership.
If your privacy and anonymity are important, use these sites as you would all others, with caution and deliberation. Don’t expose more information to others than you intend, or before you’re comfortable. These sites can be useful for those in need of their services, but don’t be lured into feeling that they are safer than any other dating or personals website.
